Edit Appraisals Catalogue - Create Appraisal Model (OOAM)
Purpose
Use this procedure to create an appraisal category, to reflect the appraisal system(s) used in your organisation.
Trigger
Perform this procedure when:
•  You are setting up your system for the first time.
•  You introduce a new appraisal system or add a new category for review.
Prerequisites
•  A current Plan version exists for your organisation. This will be set-up on implementation.
Navigation Path
Use the following navigation path to begin this transaction:
•  Select Processes è Human Resources è Qualifications & Appraisals è Appraisals è Edit Appraisals Catalogue to go to the Catalog: Change Appraisal model screen.
Field Description Tables
The R/O/C column of each Field Description table indicates whether the field usage is:
R - Required in SAP.
O - Optional in SAP.
C - Conditional in SAP.
Procedure
1. Start the transaction using the navigation path.

2. Double click Edit Appraisals Catalogue to go to the Catalog: Change Appraisal model screen.

Note The word Catalog at the top of the window is automatically highlighted.
Caution The period displayed to the right of Catalog represents the period you are editing. This date is set as a default, but can be changed if required. In the example above, the key date is set to 01.01.1900, with an end date of 31.12.9999. By modifying the key date, you control the Appraisal models that are displayed and the default start date for any new models created.
3. Click Image to go to the Create Appraisal model window.

4. As required, complete the following fields:
Appraisal model
Valid from
to (To the right of the Valid from field)
Form of apprais.
Appraisal type
Description
 
5. Click Image to reveal the Image tab.
6. Click Image to go to the Change Appraisal model window.

7. As required, complete the following fields:
Scale
Optional entry Required entry No entry
Manual Average User-specific Total Percentage

8. Click Image to save your entries.

Note The system displays the message "Data saved".
9. Click Image to close the window and go to the Catalog: Change Appraisal model screen.

Note The new Appraisal model is displayed in the catalogue.
10. To create additional Appraisal models, highlight Catalog at the top of the window and repeat Steps 3 to 9 as necessary.
11. Click Go Back to return to the SAP Easy Access Main Menu screen.
12. You have completed this transaction.
Result
You have created an Appraisal model and can assign Criteria groups and Criteria to it.
